Ceasar Salad

Do You Like Caesar Salad?

My family and I love any kind of salad, but one that really stands out to us is a good ole caesar salad.   So I figured if we love it that much, there has to be more things we can do with it than just a salad.  So I got to experimenting and I came up with one of the best bites I've had in a while!  So follow along and I'll show you what I created!

Grilled Pork Tenderloin Caesar Salad Sandwich!!

Aight Guys!!  Everyone is trying to eat a little healthier these days, so I decided to join in on that trend.....kinda.  I mean a good ole salad is hard to beat and a Caeser salad to me is top notch!  So why not transform one of my favorite salads into something a little bit different?  Just picture a pork tenderloin grilled to perfection, tossed in with some romaine lettuce, parmesan cheese and a homemade caesar dressing!  Oh we aren't done yet!  You take that mixture and pile it on top of a butter toasted pretzel bun!  You tell me that isn't one of the best bites you have ever had!  Now let's jump into it and I'll show you how to make it!

Caesar Salad Dressing

  • 2/3 - Cup of Grated Parmesan Cheese

  • 2/3 - Cup of Vegetable Oil

  • 2 - Whole Eggs

  • 2 - Tbsp of Lemon Juice

  • Garlic Salt to taste

  • Black Pepper to taste

Pork Tenderloin Caesar Sandwich

  • 1 - Pork Tenderloin

  • 3 - Heads of Romaine Lettuce Chopped

  • 1 - Cup of Shredded Parmesan Cheese

  • 4 - Pretzel Buns

  • Mayonnaise to use as a Binder for the Pork Tenderloin

  • Aight Guys!! AbsolutelyFreakinKiller AP Rub

Directions

    Caesar Salad Dressing

    1. Mix all ingredients together and place in fridge for at least an hour to even overnight.

    Pork Tenderloin Caesar Sandwich

    1. Preheat Charcoal Grill to 300 degrees and set up for a two zone cook.

    2. Rub mayonnaise on your pork tenderloin as a binder and season well on all sides with my Aight Guys!! AbsolutelyFreakinKiller AP Rub.

    3. Place pork tenderloin directly over the coals and allow to get a good sear on all sides. Once you get a good sear, place it on the indirect side to finish bringing it up to temp.

    4. When your pork reaches an internal temp of 140, remove and allow to rest a good 15 minutes.

    5. While the pork is resting, toast up your pretzel buns with butter.

    6. Dice up your pork into bite size pieces.

    7. In a bowl add romaine lettuce, shredded parmesan cheese, diced pork and caesar dressing. Mix well to make sure everything is coated good.

    8. Take your pretzel bun and pile as much of that caesar salad mixture on there as you can. Time to go int for that bite! Dig in and enjoy!
